At Karen Bird, we’re honored to be a part of your special occasion and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. While we strive to ensure that every bridesmaid dress meets the highest standards of quality and satisfaction, we understand that returns or exchanges may sometimes be necessary. Please read our policy carefully to understand your options.

Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns and exchanges on most unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items within 14 days of the delivery date. All items must be returned in their original condition, including tags, packaging, and any included accessories.

Due to the nature of formalwear, custom-made or altered dresses are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please double-check your measurements and color selections before placing a custom order.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] with the following details:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return or exchange
  • Reason for the return or exchange
  • Photos of the item, if damaged or incorrect

You must contact us before sending any item back. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.

Once your request is approved, you will receive instructions for shipping your item back. Please return the item within 7 days of receiving return authorization.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping, a standard shipping fee may be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

If you need a different size, color, or item, we recommend placing a new order as soon as possible to ensure availability, and then processing your original purchase as a return. We will process your return once the original item is received and meets eligibility.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photos and a description of the issue. We will prioritize correcting the issue by offering a replacement, exchange, or full refund, depending on the situation.

Non-Returnable Items

Please note the following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Custom or made-to-order dresses
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • Worn or altered garments
  • Items returned after the 14-day window

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defect, etc.). We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your receipt as proof.
